Why Lenex Steel Company?
We fabricate structural steel for projects that can’t afford compromise — data centers, hospitals, and manufacturing facilities across the Midwest. The work demands precision, but what sets us apart is how we approach it: with leadership, expertise, nimbleness, engagement, and that intangible X-Factor our people bring to every beam, every connection, every deadline.

For over 20 years, we’ve built our reputation collaborating with general contractors, engineers, and architects on some of the Midwest’s most complex structural projects. We deliver 30,000+ tons of AISC-certified steel annually, and we’ve earned the trust of leading general contractors and engineers by being reliable, precise, and easy to work with. Our in-house team of project managers, engineers, detailers, and shop fabricators delivers exceptional solutions from concept through completion.

Our team is guided by five core values: Leadership. Expertise. Nimbleness. Engagement. X-Factor. That last one — the X-Factor — is the pride, grit, and attention to detail our people bring every day.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Full benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Safety-first culture with ongoing training
