Indianapolis Zoo - Complex Steel Fabrication

About This Project:

Lenex Steel is proud to have provided nearly 300 tons of structural steel for the Simon Skjodt International Orangutan Center at the Indianapolis Zoo. Lenex utilized 3D modeling technology and superior in-house craftsmanship to coordinate and tackle the complex structure that serves as the frame for one of the most visually stunning and ambitious zoo exhibits ever created.  While we are very pleased with the national media attention this project has received, we are equally happy with the amazed faces of our children and compliments we receive from friends and neighbors every time they visit this highlight of our community.
